I think a lot of you are missing the gist of pastor Lyall's message.
It has nothing to do with religion. It simply boils down to the fact that there are certain practices that God himself has deemed sacred. Marriage happens to be one of them. Marriage is a holy practice that was ordained by God to be shared between a man and a woman. Marriage is a holy union because it represents the union between Christ and the church (true disciples of Christ Jesus). That's why in the book of Revalations he calls the church his "bride".
Homosexuals are attempting to hijack a ritualistic practice deemed sacred by God and use it to gratify their own sinfully practices. If someone wants to be a homosexual, then let them (that's between them and their creator). But don't attempt to use a holy practice to bless a faggot union. It doesn't work. Oil and water will never mix.
When the forefathers of North America were building their country, they built their laws and their country upon biblical and scriptural principle. That's why to this very day they use the Bible in the courtrooms. The reason that our laws state that robbing, stealing and killing are wrong, is because the laws of the Bible state that they are wrong. We made our laws based upon biblical laws and principles.
If our State legislature wants to move away from scripture and the laws of our creator, then make it known and do so! But don't contradict things by claiming to be a country under God only to endorse homosexuality.
Homosexuality is morally wrong and has no place in the sanctity of marriage. Period.
That so-called "president" of COB shouldn't be considered a president either! He was caught plagiarizing if my memory serves me correctly. Plagiarism is an infraction that directly conflicts with anything associated with higher learning....... but then again, so does COB.
And since you know so much...... please present me with any published, documented, accredited, scientific research that COB has conducted, and the academic body that it was presented to.
lmao lmao lmao!!! First of all..... Perry Christie is not a President. The Bahamas is a Commonwealth country which means that we have a Prime Minister. Second of all.... COB is not a University. In order to be considered a University, that institution must be engaged in credible research accessible and available for critique by an academic board of regents. A University presents postulates based upon their research towards a board of global academic professionals before it is considered scientific, or artistic fact. That's why Colleges issue diplomas as either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science.
Bahamians have a habit of attempting to mimic certain types of jargon used by first world country such as the United States, and have no idea as to the etiquette that is entailed.
This country cant even extinguish a dump fire yet they're talking about University??????
Listening to these pathetic politicians clambering for excuses as the next general elections approaches is embarrassing. Are these men really the best we have to offer????
The citizens of this country have already been bitten where it hurts. Under the PLP the Bahamas has been brought to collective ruin! Never before in the history of the Bahamas have the people been so galvanized against a particular government. Perry Christie is an abject failure! The PLP has nothing to show for their five years in power except a downgraded junk status economy, a burning dump fire, an exponential increase in murder rates, and an illegal racketeering influenced corrupt organization called numbers houses.
You've got your head shoved so far up Perry Christie's ass that you've become accustomed to the smell shit.
I swear........ this PLP government has to go down as the biggest disaster EVER in Bahamian history.
Perry Christie clearly has early onset dementia. His mental process appers convoluted and shrouded in confusion and senselessness.
Trying to use Bahamar as a political ploy in order to secure votes in the upcoming general elections is an exercise in futility, Mr Christie. Bahamar has failed, and so has your government. Making empty promises to the Bahamian public that you cannot fulfill is only going to gain you less popularity. The pathetic nature in which you are grasping at straws in order to delude the public into thinking you and your government have accomplished anything worthwhile is embarrassing to watch. Telling the public that Bahamar will be opening soon is like a contractor telling a potential homebuyer that he will build the roof before pouring the foundation and the belt! That makes absolutely no sense!
Just give it up Mr. Christie. You're a failed, antiquated, hapless buffoon. Step aside and let someone else lead our country.
