Birdie is just another blind PLP supporter. The PLP can do no wrong in her book. Ironically, people like that are a huge part of the reason that the Bahamas is in such a deplorable state.

Cobalt says...

Ture.... but we must also acknowledge that the parents of these young boys have failed them! The parents of these adolescent boys (mainly the fathers) have failed to raise them with propoer values.

Meanwhile....... the police are telling us that crime is down. Really Greenslade???
This country is a joke. From the government all the way down to the people.

Cobalt says...

Why the heck are all of these politicians emerging as sympathizers and members of the "We March" movement?!?!?!
Tell them to get the hell outta here!!! The whole reason the movement was established was for the people to protest their displeasure, disappointment, and vexation with successive governments and to stand in staunch opposition to them (FNM and PLP)!!!
It really angers me when I see people like Hubert Minnis, Janet Bostwick, and her punk ass son attempting to stand with the people!! Kenred Dorsett and Shane Gibson tried the same bullshit back in November before organizers had to tell them about their ass and refuse their support!! We dont want any politicians standing with us!!! We are marching againgst all of you politicians (FNM and PLP alike) for your failed practices and policies that have brought our country to ruins.
Just look at them!! All of them are fat and happy living in big mansions out east or west, while we the middle class have been subjected to poverty!!! Then when we the people start protesting our condition, these very same politicians emerge trying to present themselves as victims along with the rest of us!!! Get the f#*k outta here!!! All of yall are just alike!!

Cobalt says...

You've been exposed.
You're just another PLP folly. It's best you keep your mouth closed.

Cobalt says...

When Hubert Minnie was serving as minister of health under Hubert Ingraham and the FNM, he never once displayed any interest in serving in solidarity with the Bahamian people.
Now all of a sudden we're expected to believe that he has the interest of Bahamian people at heart??? What a joke.
No politician should be taking part in these marches. Each march is a defiant protest against a political system that has used greed, dishonesty, corruption, and selfishness to ushered in the destruction, poverty, and economic ruin of our country. In less than fifty years we've allowed politicians to destroy our country.

Cobalt says...

It was really comical to see John Bostwick of all people on the news, dressed in black and marching. This country is one big joke. Is this man serious? He's a disgraced, ex-senator whose very presence is a black eye to the FNM government. He should actually be in jail right now but mommy and daddy saved him.
Why the hell is he, Hubert Minnis, and other political figures attempting to piggyback on the We March movement anyway??? Do they not realize that the entire organization was established to protest against politicians like themselves?????

Cobalt says...

Ensure..... Reassure,..... Make sure...... Endure....... Implore...... blah blah blah blah blah.
More empty promises and assurances floating on a cloud of hot fart coming out of Perry Christie's mouth.

On PM: Majority Rule was for all Bahamians

Cobalt says...

I understand and agree with most of the above mentioned comments.
But we as Bahamians need to take an objective look at the nature of things when we assess what's going on within the Bahamas.

Most of the social ills that we're experiencing right now is directly correlated to a failed economy. It is the direct result of the domino effect that began with our so called leaders. The government has failed at enhancing our gross domestic product. They have failed at the business of selling our brand to the world. They have failed at investing in their citizens and nurturing new ideas. The Bahamian government has ushered the people into poverty.
To sum up the past 45 years....... all we've done is trade a white slave master for a black one.

Cobalt says...

I wouldn't say that Bahamians are racist.........
What I would say is that Bahamians are aware of racial issues that affect them.
While I disagree with the archdeacon, his comments should not be considered racist because it doesn't reflect the element of hatred accosiated with ethnic divide. In other words, cultural etiquette allows blacks to criticize other blacks when all parties involved are black.
However, when someone of a different race criticizes another race, one has to wonder if that person's motives are genuine or predicated upon racial bias (whether they're speaking the truth or not).

The archdeacon is wrong for his comments. He took a cheap shot at black Bahamians at a time when morale is low.
Not only is the Bahamas still considered a small country, but the generations of Bahamians before us conceived many children as well.
Our population has become a melting pot of illegal immigrants merged with disenfranchised Bahamian citizens all confined to one small island simply because successive governments have failed to enhance the success of our country.
The archdeacon should have addressed the real issues... not blow smoke.
The simple truth is.... our governments have failed us, and we as Bahamian people have failed one another.

Cobalt says...

I agree. Its too little, too late for the Bahamas.
Decades of failed practices and policies have finally caught up with the us.
What we are seeing today is the direct result of corrupt practices, mismanagement, and dishonesty dating all the way back to the 70s, 80s and 90s.
The PLP, the FNM, and the Citizens of the Bahamas have all collectivley destroyed their own country.
Ah, well.
