My point exactly!!!

Cobalt says...

Gratuity???????
Gratuity is, and should only be included during a dine-in experience when accompanied by the services of a waiter or waitress!!! And even then.... gratuity is only automatically added when the dine-in experience exceeds a certain amount!!! That's how proper dine-in etiquette works!!! You can't include a 60 cent surplus to a 6 dollar tab and then call it gratuity!!! Furthermore.... gratuity is 15% NOT 10%!!!
Leslie Miller really believe people stupid!!!
This is just another classic example of the price-gouging tactics now in effect in the wake of VAT!!!
How Bahamians get so fool?????? Yinna neva been ta school a????

Cobalt says...

Why not????
You ga bring Perry dem back????
You gatta be jokin!!! Da Bahamas have ta go wit either Hubert Minnis, or Branville!!! We can't take no more PLP!! We wouldn't have no Bahamas left!!

Cobalt says...

Good point!

Cobalt says...

Bradley Roberts is talking utter nonsense, as most PLP's do!!! We all knew that the FNM had plans to initiate VAT had they won the 2012 general elections! But the reason that Dr Hubert Minnis opposed VAT in the budget debate was because the PLP offered no transperency, nor logical blueprint as to how the tax system would work!!! They offered no solution to the conflicts or redundant charges that would come about as a result of VAT!! Neither did they educate the people or address their immidiate concerns as it related to the matter. Furthermore.... the PLP had planned to initiate VAT at a bogus rate of 15% without telling the people of the Bahamas how they derived such a rediculous number.
Even now as the PLP attempts to commence this new tax system, there exist conflicts and problems simply because VAT hasn't been planned nor implemented properly. How the hell can you introduce an unprecedented tax system without addressing all aspects of the system and conveying it clearly to the tax payers??? Many Bahamians still don't understand how VAT will work and where their tax dollars are going. Furthermore.... didn't the New Zealand committee inform Perry Christie that freedom of information laws had to be passed in order to be successful???

Bradley Roberts really believe erybody stupid an is believe propaganda!!!

Cobalt says...

That's exactly my point!! The whole reason that VAT is needed and now being implemented is because of the mismanagement and misappropriation of funds by both governments!!
VAT will not have the desired affective of lowering our national debt nor decreasing our financial deficit simply because their is no accountability, transparency, honesty, competency, prudency, nor management skills within our government!! Especially when it comes to money!!! Simply put..... the government is just "shaking down" Bahamian citizens the same way they've "shook down" foreign investors, and the same way they are "shaking down" numbers bosses!! They steal, waste money, and mismanaged funds!! Then when they realize that there's no money left..... their only solution is to attempt to squeeze more money out of their citizens!! Decade after decade, they produce no solutions on how to spur the economy!!! Their only resolve is to increase taxes on already struggling Bahamians!!!
You really think that these bunch of bungling, lying, stealing, idiots within the PLP are capable of establishing the desired financial affects of VAT and circulating it back into the economy??? Please!! Give me a break!!
All there are doing is creating another piggy-bank to rob!! Just like they did the treasury!!
If I didn't have my morals in tact, I would have been a politician!! Simply because Bahamian people are the easiest set of people to rob!! Y'all is some fools!!!

ps.... Not you ThisisOurs

This is just a sign of things to come!!
In the wake of VAT, business owners have now been given an excuse to price-gouge Bahamian consumers! As a result, Bahamians are about to witness price hikes that will far exceed the 7.5 tax increase!!
The Bahamian people voted in the PLP government hoping that they would alleviate the economic burden placed on their backs. Instead.... the PLP imposed another unprecedented tax that will be certain to break the backs of everyday Bahamian consumers!

All yinna stupid Bahamians who was paradin up an down Nassau in yinna gold an blue shirt; nah ya gettin just what ya deserve!! Yinna let Perry dem rile ya up wit all kinna loud music, lies, an false promise!! Nah he put new tax on y'all!! Das good fa y'all!!! Yinna Bahamians too damn stupid!!!

That's true.
The problem is, and has always been the first lap. Many of the junkanoo groups never get their groups fully organized until the 2nd and 3rd lap.
I say, leave Junkanoo the way it is. So what if it's long. It was actually fun to see the parade go on for fifteen plus hours. I was able to watch the first lap... go home and get some sleep.... then come back and watch the third lap.

Dr. Hubert Minnis!!! If I remember correctly..... crime was high under the FNM government's watch aswell!! And just like the PLP... your FNM party seemed impotent and powerless to do anything to quell the problem!!
Stop using the issue of crime as a platform for political grandstanding!!! Every Bahamian knows that you posess no credible solution to our country's crime problem!!! So please just sit down and keep quiet, or make room for another party or leader who is serious about taking physical action in addressing our nation's most plaguing problems.
