I still don't think these emergency powers freaks get it. Much of the population in Abaco has no refrigeration, therefore panic induced shopping will still prevail as shopping every few days, particularly with high summer temperatures, is not a preferred option for all. It must be pointed out that there is an element of the population that probably use shopping as an excuse to get out of the dreaded lockdown. Either way, I think the PM and those who have his ear need to find a new form of entertainment if the Country is to have even a faint hope of survival.

Hopefully these dimwit emergency powers people will allow wash houses to reopen in Abaco as many hundreds are still without water, electricity, washing machines and actually their own houses, while in Nassau bakeries are happily baking away the beloved and oh so healthy white bread! Quite amazing what makes these so-called emergency powers tick. Perhaps Minnis should go to Church on Sunday evenings and just get over himself!

I believe Grand Bahamians tooks to the streets in their capital today in protest against the stupid ongoing and extended lockdown.I I also understand Abaconians have had more to than enough of a the Minnis induced panic shopping leading to the inability to buy groceries as well as the inability to get into Abaco's only bank. Dr. Minnis's emergency orders are creating a dire situation in our country, possibly worse than daily living conditions and constraints during the last great war some eighty years ago. No national heros award for Minnis or any member of his government....

Tribanon, have you ever tried to run a restaurant, let alone a high quality restaurant in The Bahamas? Most businesses do not close their doors if they are making money hand over fist! Many, in fact, often stay open longer than they should, not only because it is heart-breaking to close one business into which much effort has gone over the years, but also in a great attempt to save the jobs of the employees.

That's rich! Politics is such a nasty game.
