Sorry for the turnaround to Sands, but so typical of Bahamas Government. I I wonder how the M.P. 's and Civil Servants expect to be paid while the private sector does without.

There was another political party which verged on dictatorship several decades ago. Ironically, this was prevented by the election of the current party which has become flagrantly dictatorial, seemingly overnight, under the guise of imposing martially restrictive regulations on our citizenry.

Yet another case of the overabundance of caution being far more deadly than the virus itself. It is also a strong indication of an apalling lack of traditional family structure in out country.

Who exactly dreams up these wonderful regulations, like the excercise one? Do they compete for prizes like the most original?

On the subject of Abaco, one has to wonder just where it's M.P.'s and the esteemed Parliamentary and Senate doctors stand on the great mountains of debris and garbage that lay around the island for almost six months. No worries about bacteria or viruses there. Indeed, some of the mounds remain undisturbed today. I am told there is still no regular garbage collection in many areas. Of course it is understood that this condition could not possibly compare with the virus of the year......
