With all the killings and accidents in Nassau I am sure PMH cannot even handle the volume of daily emergency surgery.
There was a time, a decade or two ago, when the PMH was actually functioning rather well. The current situation is absolutely deplorable. The running of the facility is obviously far beyond the ability of current hospital authorities and relevant government officials. The 'obligatory' unions certainly add to the shambles that should be a hospital for The People of The Bahamas. Perhaps the steady decline in PMH is a ploy, or a cry, for privatisation........
