Hotels Encouragement Act should be abolished. Why bother to re-enact a source of income on one hand only to eliminate it out of the other? The playing field some realtors are worrying about is their own. What about a source of income to run the Country instead of taxing The Bahamian People to death? A 10% room or house night tax should suffice.
