Hilariously sickening, the whole thing. We have two nations of gangsters working together, been going on for decades. Successive Bahamas governments either have members at the top involved or they wear proverbial blinders. The only other excuse for these goings on to continue unfettered would be laziness or stupidity, possibly both.

and yet Cabinet and their chosen hangers-on continue their globe-trotting and wastage of Public funds at not only an unabated, but at an alarmingly increasing rate, with no regard for the electorate. The parents of the children with no hospital beds should DEMAND these spendthrifts produce an accounting of their expenses with one week of their occurrence.

Bahamas Government loves to waste money! It may be what it does best! Lest we forget, it also excels in securing cuts for the purchase or contract!

Good article though, right on point, but any international aid must be given with a view to helping the people of Haiti help themselves and not with international ulterior motives, as has largely been the case to date. Can the needed altruistic help be found? The Bahamas could and should play a leading roll but must tread very carefully....

The U.S. does not usually FIX failed states and the N.Y. based UN is their puppet.
