This sort of thing should definitely be put to referendum, giving all concerned a fair amount of advance time to properly educate The People as to the pros and cons of joining this monstrous organization. It is wrong for a bunch of self-serving clowns to decide the fate of the Country.
This form of democracy works well in Switzerland where the majority are well-educated with corresponding I.Q.'s. In a country like ours which cannot boast the same, the outcome of laws implemented by total referenda could be disastrous! Having said that, more governance by The People is definitely needed. Love the idea of one year probation for M.P.'s and recall if The People dissatisfied, perhaps would need to be 51%? This current lot would be long gone!

Never anything to help struggling businesses with exorbitant utility bills. Putting VAT on electrical bills to begin with was an act of cruelty, pure and simple. Would love to levy tax on every single M.P. every time the power goes off!
They have no rights, they just bully the rest of the world into submission. Neither do they have respect. One of these days they will push a sovereign nation too far and then.........
