The whole thing is totally absurd and totally wrong.. The Bahamas Government cannot decide whether we are democratic, socialist, communist, totalitarian or just one big hodgepodge of inefficiency. Maybe this is the Minnis meaning of "it's the people's time"!
"As he blamed rising international gas prices for the escalating cost of electricity in the country" - I believe The People are sick and tired of that drivel. This Minister is very good at saying absolutely nothing of import.
I trust The People, whose time it is, will receive an accounting for each and every penny of the $300,000.00. There are an awful lot of people in the money receiving photo!!
Sounds like yet another scam perpetrated by or with the knowledge of the Red/Yellow governing party on The People of the Bahamas, the vast majority whose time it certainly is not.
