Actually I think that approximate 4000 figure may be persons who have contracted the virus after receiving the vaccine. Is that the same as the vaccine giving them the virus or the vaccine being ineffective against the virus?
I maintain hat people collecting any form of duty on behalf of the government should not steal. Then of course, nor should government🤣. VAT is a terrible form of taxation.
Good luck on that. Suspect this is an attempt to get another rise on the minimum wage. Suggest government lower import taxes to ,say 25% across the board duty, do away with the disgusting VAT, further suggest government and it's civil servants stop stealing and wasting tax money and run the Country honestly and efficiently. Also think it would be nice if employees at least attempted to put in an honest day's work. That would all be SO refreshing!
this is just blatantly hopeless!! They are just urinating away money off the backs of the tax payers as soon as they see it. Two to one they won't even know how to handle the system, assuming it exists.
Why do The Tribune and The U.N. think we should be responsible for the people of another country? Bahamas Government had no business letting this situation get to this point. The problem staring us all in the face is that these shanty towns and these illegals or not illegals are here because of the greed and corruption throughout The Bahamas' governmental system for many decades. The fact is there are far too many "needy"' or supposedly "needy" folk from Haiti in our Country who should not be looking towards the Bahamas as their salvation to the detriment of our people. This is what has happened and needs to be stopped once and for all.
