I thought the article below same to be a repeat of history. Only this time it is Haitians vs Bahamians. The article was American vs Chinese. In fact you can substitute the word Haitian for Chinese and Bahamian for American.
The Exclusion Act of 1882 created significant legal barriers to Chinese immigrants’ assimilation.
Around the turn of the century, politicians played into white workers' anxieties, pointing the finger at Chinese immigrants for economic hardship and labeling them fundamentally incapable of assimilation into U.S. society.
In 1877, a congressional committee heard testimony that the Chinese "are a perpetual, unchanging, and unchangeable alien element that can never become homogenous; that their civilization is demoralizing and degrading to our people; that they degrade and dishonor labor; and they can never become citizens."
Congress passed the Chinese Exclusion Act in 1882, barring Chinese immigrants who were already in the U.S. from becoming citizens and restricting new immigration from China. The law marked the first time that the U.S. restricted immigration explicitly on the basis of race.
Along with the Exclusion Act's renewal in 1892, Congress required all Chinese-Americans -- including U.S.-born citizens -- to carry photo ID at all times or risk arrest and deportation.

It insane the attention given to foolish talk. If the Cubans couldn't generate a boycott how in the world Campbell could. With regards to her name it most likely would have come when Bahamians look for work in the US. Panama and Haiti. LOL. Believe it or not there was a time when Bahamians in the South Eastern Bahamas especially from Inagua frequented Haiti. On a rare occasion you will come across Bahamian surnames in Northern Haiti.
You seem to have a lot of hatred in you. Don't call a person made in the image and likeness of God a parasite. Hate the fact that they are coming to the Bahamas but don't put on a Hitler like mentality. Remember that some fisherman feel the same way you feel about illegal fishing by the Dominicans.
Its obvious Tal you didn't listen to the video because what he said made sense and he use the appropriate scripture in support of what he is saying. Just don't read the title of a message, I challenge you to listen to it. In Proverbs it says, "a poor mans wisdom is despised". Do you want a leader that people don't even want to listen to
Please tell your fisherman to leave our waters alone. We have a problem with Haitians on land and Dominicans on our waters. It is said that Santa Domingo waters are totally fished out so how in the hell you are able to export millions of pounds of crawfish and scale fish annually. Our fisherman have been threaten by Dominicans in our own waters. You can help by refusing eat any fish sold in your restaurants because you will be aiding and abetting a crime. Appreciated.
A small protest was taken place outside a border town in Arizona over immigrants crossing the US Border. An American Indian walk up and said, "we didn't invite any of you". Initially, I thought the comment strange but realized the guy was right. If the Bahamas remains prosperous, descendants of Haitians living here would most likely be saying the same thing you are saying to some other unfortunate group. As the world turns....
You speak highly of Jesus. I hope you have a relationship with him or maybe you prefer to keep him at arm's length."Jesus you're a good guy but that in your heart/born again is a bit too much for me".
I am always reminded that even Jesus had his dis-tractors. Its sad that even in death that some of you don't have the common decency to show a hint of humanity. The Bible declare that the wages of sin is death. It never indicated how that death should come.Jesus's death came in a most brutal manner.I can hear duppy and banker saying, "he could save others but he can't save himself".
