Why would you want to lend money in this country if it will take over 7 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars to recoup less than half of the money you lent out. I don't have a lot of cash living (essentially pay check to pay check to cover my exorbitant health insurance (roughly twice my house mortgage payment) and other bills) but if it I did I would be loathe to lend it out to anyone knowing there is high probability that I would never get it back.
