If you believe that, you are sorely uninformed. To buy real estate you have to provide proof of funds (ie prove it is legit) to: (1) the buyer's lawyer, (2) teh buyer's lawyer's bank, (3) Foreign Investment Board, (4) Central Bank, (5) the sellers lawyer and finally (6) the seller's lawyers bank. And the Bahamas claims we are improving the ease of doing business...

I do not condone any of it. But governments will spend. This goes to show that the previous $1.5M contract put almost exactly $1,450,000 in one person's pocket. while this time $100k was actually spent to purchase a durable good. stop with your useless idle political chatter it helps no one, it benefits nothing. maybe try to raise the standard of dialogue in this country instead of just being a donkey.

DWW says...

It is a whole lot better than the contract last year. $100k vs $1.5m. All the above can go sit small.

DWW says...

That may be true but the conditions are far better than Haiti.

Agreed. Thanks to the amendment to the bail act whereby anyone in the bahamas is now guilty until proven innocent. Way to go bahamas, way to go

Laughable really. I wonder if we could all file suit and say we only gonna pay 3% vat instead of 12? It would be nice really nice.

It has been higher in the past. As high as 116,000 overall it is actually down. Meanwhile abaco contributes way more to the public slush fund than it gets. Still a deathtrap road near spring city

On Stopovers rise ‘a phenomenal’ 18% in Abaco
