To buy real estate you have to provide proof of funds (ie prove it is legit) to: (1) the buyer's lawyer, (2) teh buyer's lawyer's bank, (3) Foreign Investment Board, (4) Central Bank, (5) the sellers lawyer and finally (6) the seller's lawyers bank. And the Bahamas claims we are improving the ease of doing business...
I do not condone any of it. But governments will spend. This goes to show that the previous $1.5M contract put almost exactly $1,450,000 in one person's pocket. while this time $100k was actually spent to purchase a durable good. stop with your useless idle political chatter it helps no one, it benefits nothing. maybe try to raise the standard of dialogue in this country instead of just being a donkey.
It has been higher in the past. As high as 116,000 overall it is actually down. Meanwhile abaco contributes way more to the public slush fund than it gets. Still a deathtrap road near spring city
