and the most salient response to this - debt forgiveness is entirely wishful thinking if the govt continues to spend a billion dollars more than it earns every year and that is why we have to borrow. What he should be talking about is reducing the national payroll for public servants. Meanwhile the present PHP are hiring hiring hiring and taking on more debt. Looking at the past without a plan for the future is simpleton at best.
