agreed. it is a farce to get elected and it may be the only real reason they get voted out every time. it might just be the one promise that secretly upsets voters more than are willing to admit publically.
meanwhile the USA and UK seems to care almost entirely about immigration check and the customs is always a waive through? I thought import duties were supposed to disappear after VAT? if there were no import duties then there would be no need for customs to check every bag?
fidelity seems like a loan shark in a turtle costume sometimes. they only lend to govt employees with salary deduction, which is fine but at least be upfront and honest about the business practices. The other 3 foreign banks, better the devil you know???
