I think the Government should just let Coivd rip, and have no cautions. Allow no masks, no sanitizing, gatherings etc. Sure people will die, but it would be predominantly those who are unvaccinated and as people have said it is peoples choices.
Mortality rate of 0.15% due to the shut downs and all the other items you mentioned. Would have been higher if we had done nothing. Though seeing as we are a tourist nation and tourists were limited on coming here by their own countries i doubt we would have still been operating as normal like you seem to think
Look at UK Death and hospitalization rates and then look at the rates for those vaccinated and those not. Then make your decision. They never said vaccine would eliminate Covid, just that it would reduce your chances of getting it and then reduce the chances of going to hospital and then reduce the chances of death. I take it you are one of those who says don't use condoms as they are not 100% effective.
Lol all this fuss and we all know if the PLP win then they will get rid of the health visa but have something else that would need to be paid for. No doubt the operator of that will be connected to the PLP. Both parties terrible for the country.
Yes its good news, but it is 90% not including the full tower. In addition i believe there are still people furloughed and on top of that the people they let go. Unfortunately i would guess the hotels will be running as lean as possible going forward. Lets hope beach will open shortly and we continue to see good numbers.
Yes Wartsila, who operate in a huge number of countries around the world, with no issues, is responsible for Bahamas having faulty engines. Bahamas where BPL and BEC before have never been able to run the engines well for a short period of time. Makes sense
Anyone involved with BPL can congratulate themselves on being part of the reason this country is in the situation it is. They have never been able to keep the power on, and charge a fortune for the lousy service they give. I am sure most people would be happy when the day comes and we can be rid of BPL.
Bahamians are the ones being unconvinced by the traffic to get to work. How many people benefit from those roads, except people using it as a shortcut. That shortcut makes the traffic worse for all. Unless only foreigners are in the traffic and Bahamians take those shortcuts. Same everywhere there is gridlock, it is made worse by all the side streets.

On that 2% figure, i take it you do not agree with the chicken pox, mumps, rubella and many more, as they all have morality rates lower then Covid.
