What is new about the PLP this time round. It's still pretty much being run by the same people as before.

Good letter, apart from the end. If PLP win you will feel exactly the same in 5 years. We really need to try other parties and or independents as these two parties have almost brought us to our knees.

Government doesn't understand how business operates, in order for them to pay their bills and make a profit they need the people they have entered into contracts with to pay on time. yet again it appears our Government has not done that. Not only that they need to know how long the contract will go on for, so of course they want to know if it is going to be extended. So this company does the only thing left and go to the press to say we are turning off the water on X date. Not sure if the Government is aware but Suez bought GE water in 2017 for $3.4 billion, Suez is the parent company of Aqua designs, so losing Bahamas may be unfortunate but not life changing for the company. Whilst not having water is life changing for those Bahamians living there.

WE all know this is a done deal, in the hopes that RCL do something in Freeport. THere is no transparency over here.

Dawes says...

Thats when they have caught it, they are less likely to catch it and then, for them, less likely to show symptoms.

Dawes says...

And whats amazing is he was able to do this even before he came to power as we have had these outbreaks for years. He must be a most powerful person.

Dawes says...

Maybe because study after study shows that children are less at risk of catching it then adults.

Why would anyone want a debate when all parties can attend. It would just be a shouting match. A number of those parties historically only get significantly less then 1% of the vote. By all means have a debate between PLP, FNM and DNA (they do get above 5% in elections) but thats about all. The others can have a more minor debate if needed. Otherwise it won't be a debate but a who can shout louder discussion and continue to make us look like children.

Dawes says...

Debates should happen but they shouldn't actually expect just anybody can forma party and then enter the debate. It should be based on last results and maybe polling (though i am not sure how good our polling is). Basically there should be 3 people up there, the PLP, FNM and the DNA.
