LOL as if Government will do anything to the owner. The only thing that may happen is we will discuss more at a world climate change event about how much we are owed, all while doing nothing to protect our own environment.
Had the FNM won and FTX collapsed (as it would have done) you would be screaming how it was their fault. You only care about Party and not This Country.
Can someone show what the tax cost is in the rest of the Caribbean? If its a couple % less then us then that's fine due to fuel costs etc to get there. If its the full VAT amount less then that's different.
Whilst i hope this works, as otherwise thats a huge waste of money, why lie in the article. To say the stadium was filled with hundreds of people, and then have the junkanoo photo where you can clearly see many empty seats is wrong. Also maybe if they had advertised this better there would have been more people/.
Of course they should pay their fair share. If they can't afford to pay 14% of their fee and feel its better to go to south of us, then bye. The extra gas etc will eat into that amount, and in addition many of those islands charge as much if not more.
Don't forget that merchant has to also take into account the number of items stolen (as this letter writer observed). There is some poor mum out there paying what little she can for items which are more expensive due to the lady who stole.
