Obviously, you are missing the point. It's not about their pay being late, it's about informing employees in a timely manner - not on the date they expect to be paid. How many times have you obliged yourself to meet payments/bills/commitments based on your pay date because you know that's when you get pay? At least if they are respectfully informed in a timely manner, they are now in a better position to inform as it relates to their own commitments. People want respect and nothing is wrong with that.
