Perhaps you should review again how the business licence tax is levied in this country. The first year of business' fees related to licencing is primarily registration and documentation matters. If you earn below the threshold you pay based on the prior year for the upcoming year and submit unaudited but accountant revenue attestation. If you are beyond the first first threshold then you may be required to submit audited reports by June 30 of the following calendar year in which the licence fees can/may be charged based on the variance. In terms of a refund, these are not directly outlined but based on a case by case basis, albeit quite difficult to achieve. Depending further on your turnover of the prior years you may be required to submit estimated account during the year which may provide a basis for licence fee adjustments same as the prior. In my years of experience I have not encountered someone paying license fees for the first year of business based upon projected revenues so the fees are primarily or in most cases based upon a past year of operation, so I am not sure where you determined your point of paying fees before you "play in business".

Is this a joke or did you skip your classes?

And with the politics, there will be a PPP started to manage the remains and it'll be damaged. AMMC can't even make the taxi drivers pay their debts, let alone actually manage anything.

No. You don't get paid for laying drummy tiles that will need to be repurchased, redone and someone else is to be paid for the correct work. You don't get paid for failing to follow any building code and then saying "I been doing this for 15 years" but the tiles are uneven because the floor isn't level. Said floor, the homeowner paid you to have redone, and you say it's not level...Home owners have been through enough.

Compare the fees to T&C who's fees are arbitrarily low to advertise their tourism product, who's airports are no bigger than the family island airports of The Bahamas. Yes, please shill for more collusion of private and corporate aviation groups that are seeking to make the Bahamas "Free" for them again. T&C who's products are almost ONLY resorts areas or destitute local areas. Where the government tried to have the only FBO's be foreign hotel owned. Make it make sense.

Either a bot for the complainant group or can't comprehend the way these fees have not and will not impact the travel these groups just seek to make it free or closer to free again. This group paired with trying to bar Bahamian airlines from US travel operations, is a clear collusion of pressures simply to reduce costs of their business in the Bahamas. They are not booking less or travelling less by pure flight data sets. So shill more.

Nothing being done by DIR with "Large Tax Payers" is suitable or efficient until they can demonstrate a modicum of understanding their own rules and have any documentation for registrants history of matters being resolved and filed. Every time someone gets promoted or someone leaves DIR, if they had your company file, you start at square one for every issue that isn't basic math. They have worse documentation of their own judgements/decisions than they expect companies to have to substantiate VAT and Revenue recognition alongside statutory audits. The audit expense and timing is also high from 20-100k for some companies who never performed full audits on top op Revenue review which is around 1-7k if you have the same accountants performing both roles or 1-25k if they are a different firm performing the review. Not to forget the 1.2k-10k for business license renewal. Which all three have overlapping revenue testing that firms, due to risk of attesting to their filing requirements, charge for the increased risk of misstatement.

99% of DIR staff can only verify the basic completely straight forward business, virtually any other matter seems to require 1 of 2 executives or 1 or 2 senior managers who, by nature of this issue are inundated with calls and discussions causing a bottleneck of various companies trying to get something documented as an approved calculation for filing purposes.

Don't let your company be involved with government projects that generate revenue for the entity, it's even worse.

No. Let only your children and children's children feel hunger if that's what you want. You fragment.

Not yet. But the Belt and Road initiative has consistently lead down a path for countries handing over more power and concessions than the west has demanded. Africa has gone from 2bil per annum new Chinese debt to 30bil per annum. Saying they don't own the most debt, is like saying the dog hasn't bit me yet as he lunges towards you.
