I agree with most of what Emac says.

In addition it is interesting to note that the Church says nothing about all the "sweet hearting" that goes on in this Country........Minister it is called "Adultery" and I believe you will find it breaches one of the 10 Commandments.......when you argued against the Numbers you did not protest outside the places where you knew were numbers houses.........but you were happy to take some of the winnings in the collection plate.......they say that cleanliness is next to Godliness but I don't see you taking your parishioners, instead of a Sunday service, out to clean up the neighborhood around the church.....

And then there are the robberies and murders that Emac refers to. These are societal problems that, if the church weren't so busy worrying about LGBT, they could focus on.....

By and large the churches in The Bahamas are now out of touch and irrelevant.

Economist says...

Agreed Emac, you are right on the money.

I encourage Mr. Henfield to continue. This Country needs some young and vibrant leaders.

Yes mistakes will be made and that is fine. The older generation of leaders are not doing very well themselves. Just look at our economy and crime etc., at the mess in the FNM.

Keep at it Mr. Henfield.

Economist says...

Mr. Henfield appears to be finding his feet, so to speak, in the treacherous political waters of our Country.

He is young and that is to be expected. He needs some seasoned advisors.

Is it a good piece of legislation, is it a bad piece? Give us your opinion on what you feel is needed to make this a better piece of legislation.

We all know about what you said, that is nothing new. Everyone has been saying it for years.

You are an opposition MP, act like one instead of being a little messenger boy regurgitating what has already been said.

Tribune, if the good Dr. has nothing to say, as is the case here, please don't bother to print it.

Economist says...

LBT may not be the right one but she is better than Minnis. The party needs a smart young (40ish) leader. Someone who the young can identify with and who the old feel that there is hope that the country will now do better.

There are way to many old politicians who just won't let go of the party. They want to keep it "their way" and are destroying it in the process.

They like Minnis because he doesn't rock the boat.

Minnis has done nothing in 4 years so why should I expect him to do anything if he becomes PM? I don't. So why vote for a do nothing?

On THE BIG QUESTION: What next for the FNM?

Now why could the reporter have not found that out?

Come on Natario, you can do better. We expect more of you because we know that you can do better reporting, if you want to.

Just another lawyer. They argue for their client, right or wrong.

Economist says...

You go Doc!
By the way the background in the picture says "ourfnm". You mean "yourfnm" because it sure isn't mine and many others anymore.

But you don't have to worry because the ones who have lost faith in the FNM, because of you, are the young upwardly mobile and they are the ones leaving the country.

Economist says...

I suspect you will be seeing a new party.
