Minnis, if he stays, is going to hand the country back to the PLP, that is a certain.
If the 7 (some of them giving up there right to run) can come to some agreement with the DNA or some new group then we may not have to give the country back to the PLP.
Whenever there shall be occasion for the appointment of a Leader of the Opposition, ***the Governor-General shall appoint the member of the House of Assembly who, in his judgment, is best able to command the support of the majority of the members of the House in opposition of the Government***
You have 10 + 1 (Greg Moss) members in opposition. 7 members say that they no longer support Minnis as Leader and that they will follow LBT. Even if Greg Moss supported Minnis he would still not have a majority less than 40%.
I don't see why LBT would not be appointed Leader as she commands ***the support of the majority of the members in the House in opposition of the Government.***
The only reason that there is so much noise in the market is that this is a foreign owner. "How the foreigner mistreats Bahamians and how bad done by we are."
Were was the noise when Tiger closed Solomon's Mines? There wasn't much talk either when he closed City Market.
We only make noise when a foreigner is involved because we have been taught (by the PLP especially) that when a foreigner lays you off you should run to the politicians, labour department and especially Immigration to put pressure on the foreigner to hire you back.
Over the years these politicians departments have protected their voter regardless of the circumstances.

I cannot understand, for the life of me, why Minnis would want to continue to bring all this humiliation on himself?
Everyone and their mother has said that he is not a good leader, why continue?
He has destroyed the FNM and should resign the leadership, the party and politics.
(Ok, I know, you have to care about The Bahamas to do that.)

Minnis was elected by a counsel that is old, void of ides and just follow the old dogma.
That is not what the general public want. Minnis might be a good doctor but he is not a good politician.
Either the FNM has to change their leadership or they will lose the election AGAIN.
