Won't vote FNM, don't want to vote PLP, but I will vote. So the DNA is certainly worth taking a look at.

The DNA needs to have its convention, showcase a good plan for digging the country out of its problems (economic and social), nominate some reasonable candidates and get some sound financing........then it will have my vote for sure.

Economist says...

That is why the smart QC is a QC and Bethel is not. Of course it can be challenged and Smith is not the only lawyer who believes this.

What Bethel is really saying is that the **FNM don't have the balls** to challenge the PLP.

**Lots of empty talk, that is all the FNMs are**. What a waste of time.

You mention Anbang and hotels in large cities that do not rely on tourists to fill their rooms.

Freeport's "Our Lucaya" is owned by a group that was successful in owning hotels in cities. Did not know anything about the tourism industry and have been a disaster for Freeport.

I wouldn't get to enthusiastic just yet,

So exactly when will it be tabled???

Economist says...

The politicians just want to get re-elected.
If they destroy the country in the process they don't care.

They are not, never have been and never will be interested in the betterment of Bahamians.
This will chase what little investment, both foreign and local, away.

Economist says...

You mean people who have relations with certain people of political persuasion????? My, my.

Are the people ones that we would consider Bahamians, who you would describe as what a "Bahamian" is?

I am sure that they would proudly tell you that they are Bahamian and many would agree.

Man, we really need to take a good look at ourselves.

What is the saying? "God will provide". The idea was that His people on earth, you so called Holy men of God, would provide.

The problem is that you men are so busy breaking God's laws that you don't have any time for those unwanted children.

How dare you write a letter you hypocrite. You have the audacity to call yourself a Pastor. What kind of car do you drive? if you want to help the unwanted, sell your car and use the money for good. You could probably do with a little exercise.

***“The application to have the documents sealed was made by the China Export-Import Bank. This kind of seal is standard, especially in transactions of this complexity, scale and international market-sensitivity. Remember, the bank already has billions of dollars invested in the project.”***

This is not a private transaction. This is one that involves the government of The Bahamas and is a quasi-public transaction. The government made sure that its presents was felt. If it were private the government would not have been in the courts at all.

That is why it should not be sealed.

The Grand Bahama Port Authority is responsible in Freeport but the owners (St. Georges) of the Port are the owners of the sewerage plant.

The children of Edward St. George are not like their father, he would have fixed the problem.
