Let us stick to the law of the land.
**1. There is a Court Order; it should be followed.
2. To announce that one is not going to comply with a Court Order is wrong.
3. For any politician to say that they are not going to comply with the law is to act like a pirate.**
4. Tal raises the point as to where the money came to do the video. By all means follow that up. But ask yourself Tal, if someone threatened your family, you reported it repeatedly, wrote letters and had meeting with the police and still they did nothing, would you object to the truth being exposed?

The Central Bank has always been reactive. They don't have a clue, and I doubt that they care as long as they get their paycheck at the end of the month.

If they had to work in the private sector they would have been fired years ago.

In other words they are saying to the people of The Bahamas that they encourage the criminal activity in the country as they, by example, will also break the law.

So this is what MP Bell meant that the Crime plan was working.

In the other report in the Tribune today

***"the Renew Bahamas chief said it now had “a better understanding” of what a viable landfill management operation requires."***

and here he says ***“The phrase I like to use is: ‘I don’t know what I don’t know’,” Mr Beukes explained. “There were a lot of unknowns taken on with a project like this.****

This proves that Renew should never have been hired by government in the first place.

Real landfill operators know what is entailed. And yes, there were real landfill operators who bid for the job.

So show us the renew contract, and explain why government gave people who did not understand, a contract.

Something smells very bad.

Who is on the Council?
What age are they?
What do they do for a living?
How many are computer literate?
How many have any knowledge of the WTO, the EPA or the IMF,
Do they know any of the international treaties The Bahamas has signed?
How well do they know our own laws?
Do they understand why this Country needs a Freedom of Information Act and a Fiscal Responsibilities Act?

Without the knowledge of most of the above then it is impossible for the Council to approve anyone to run our Country.

This is the same man who feels that the crime plan has not failed. Grade "D" thinking.

You expect Dr. Blah (minnis) to make a statement of fact?

You need to talk about something totally irrelevant and then he will speak "blah".

The government must act now. It should be noted that just over 40% of the debt is held by banks. They will have to sell much of that if The Bahamas is downgraded to Junk Bond status.

The cost of borrowing would then skyrocket and possibly put The Bahamas in a position of being unable to pay its debts.

That would crash the economy. Unemployment could also skyrocket to as much as 30%.

LBT would be a much, much better Leader of the Opposition than Minnis.
