So how does a bidder do a full "due diligence"?

This is a very telling story. I agree that it has just about put the final nail into the coffin of our financial services industry.

Kind of reminds me of when The Bahamas had most (90%) of the Captive insurance Industry. We played the fool with immigration and Bingo Bermuda and Cayman have 95% of the industry and all the investment that followed.

By the way the Captive Insurance companies also needed good financial services which is partly why we lost some of that industry.

Dr. blah..blah..Minnis please resign!

You are adding nothing to the conversation. What do you mean "you will" root out corruption. You have had two years, or so, as Leader of the Opposition to do something. You have sat back and done nothing to root out corruption so far. Why should I vote for you?

FNM get a leader.

Everyone knows that any government has to create 4,000+ jobs a year, just to keep up with the population growth. That means that to reduce unemployment you have to create lots of jobs like the 10,000 they were to create in the first100 days.

Four years in power means that 16,000 jobs, of the 20,000 jobs he speaks of, don't count.

Most he can claim is 4,000, and that is being generous.

**Birdie,** IF those in power, that is the government, had abided by the law the QC, of which you speak, would not have been able to file any cases...sooooooo....the ones who have damaged The Bahamas are none other than the **lawbreakers/government** themselves, and **NOT the QC**.

Economist says...

Minnis give up the leadership, before you sink the FNM completely.
