I don't blame you as I know many others who wish they could do the same. We will all miss your valuable contributions.
It is very sad that our country, which could be a paradise, has been led by successive irresponsible governments to the depths that we experience today.
Each time the government has been caught with their pants down they have never, never come clean sooooo if they don't give you an answer you can be sure there is something sinister behind it.
Let us not forget the 1993 inquiry found $400,000.00 that got into the hands of a ministers son and another minister brother from the purchase of the Dash 8's.
No answer, makes you think and this time it was $100 million.
Well, for a start you need to have a reliable and sensible immigration policy. Picking up bank managers is not a bright idea. And the way he was handled sent shock waves throughout the industry (world wide).
The Bahamas is on the map, but for all the wrong reasons.
Attitudes must change, starting in the House of Assembly.
The 1987 election victory was, at best suspicious.
Let's see, reports of full ballot boxes left over from the previous election. The Yellow Elder door being blocked by a bus for the elderly who were made to vote with "special" assistance.
There were insufficient ballots in one or more of the Harbour Island, Spanish Wells polling stations. Insufficient Ballots in the North Andros Berry Island constituency.
The polls for those constituencies were held open for the following day (which is correct under the law) but then ZNS gave out results (which it should not have done as all the polls were not closed).
May have won 1987 but it is debatable that the elections were fair.
Is Mr. Miller suggesting that is what is going to happen in 2017?
Bahamasair is a national disgrace. Few companies can boast costing the hard working tax payers over $500 Million dollars. That is enough to pay for all the necessary school rooms so that our children don't have to suffer overcrowded classes.
We talk about a grade D average, well there it is....money that should and could have been spent on our children's education. Yes, Bahamasair at the cost of our children's future.
Each day Bahamasair loses over $70,000 and that equals a full years salary for 2, yes 2 teachers. That is over 700 extra teachers we could have.
