The last third of the article sums it all up. We all know that the government does not have the will to do what Moody says is necessary sooooo down grade here we come.
"Most Bahamians, particularly men who only have high school diplomas, were terrified by the prospect of the massive influx of university educated foreign males into The Bahamas after marrying Bahamian women. We were afraid that these educated foreigners would literally take over the country, relegating the uneducated among us to the back-burner. Most Bahamian women who have been educated abroad will most likely settle for a foreign male who has a college degree, rather than a Bahamian plumber, cab and jitney driver, waiter or construction worker, which is her God-given right."
Birdie can't help it. Birdie is a classic PLP supporter. A classic example of how poor our education system is. Birdie is incapable of a thought process as our school system teaches rote. No one is asked to think things through. The PLP relies on the Birdies of life to vote them back in. Birdie who can't think for themselves are the very foundation of the PLP support. You go Birdie, look for your hand out and your subservient existence.
Why would anyone want to invest in The Bahamas with the governments current attitude? The answer is "only the Chinese". Our competition is getting all the direct foreign investment while we go without work. Hunger for Bahamians on a large scale can't be far away.
My understanding is that a "white night" group was working on this with the last FNM government but they were shut down by the incoming PLP government.
We just bought 5 new aircraft and in 2014 they had some serious mechanical problems so did that speed up the replacement of the aircraft and ultimately cost us more money?

By law you have to be 30 to be a Senator. That is old enough.
Do you say that Sir Lyndon was to young to be in politics in the 1950's?
Do you feel that Sir Lyndon at 26 was not a wise person when he won the leadership as Party Leader in the House of Assembly?

The good Senator should not have been appointed.
I don't blame her.
