Would the FNM please pick a leader that we can all agree is a good leader. Minnis is not that person all the infighting proves that.

The fact is that The Bahamas has not been marketing much in Europe so when they see large numbers of Americans going to Cuba they will look for somewhere else to go. Maybe the Seychelles which market in Europe but not The Bahamas ("**Bahamas, what Bahamas, never heard of it?"**).

The Bahamas relies on the US Northeast corridor for the bulk of its soon to be Cuba bound tourists.

For the last 15 years many of us have been saying that we need to spend our market dollars in Europe and else where.

We are in serious trouble. Another reason for a "down grade"

What was done in the past ,by both former governments, was wrong.

We must move on from this childish "you did it so I can do it" attitude.

This is 2106 and we should have a proper and transparent bidding process for all government and government related contracts.

Grow up.

Economist says...

LBT would be a much, much better leader than Minnis.

Mind you, it wouldn't be hard to be a better leader than Minnis.

I am just thinking back to the late 60'S through the 70's when we had MP's who were young, energetic and idealistic.

A great deal was accomplished between 1967 and 1977. Most of it much needed at the time.

Our then Prime Minister turned 47 in 1977.

It gives one pause for thought when I look at the mess that these old people politicians (most are over 60 now) are making of running, or should I say ruining, of our Country.

Too many old ideas and no progressive thinking in the FNM today.

Anyone who is over 60 should not be a candidate in the next election, plain and simple.

Parties should try to have a majority of candidates under the age of 45.

Stop talking about NHI and focus on fixing the health system so that it does not lose 1 out of every $4 that is allocated to it.

Economist says...

“What my administration has found out and has confirmed is that crime is so multifaceted in its manifestation and that this report confirms it, that it takes more than a government with the right policies and the right strategies to bring about the desired results,” Mr Christie said.

But you said that you would solve our crime problem in 2012. You mean that you did not know anything about it? It has taken you 4 years to find out?

That's a little late don't you think? Not to mention misleading.

Minnis, please tell us what you mean by "more aggressive policing"?

By the way Tal, the only reason, I think, that 'attempted murder' was down, was because more attempts were successful and it became 'murder'.
