You would think that they did this all themselves. Check out one of the Buildings and you will see that it was paid by a foreifn bank.

Trust the GBPA to make a claim off the backs of others.

GBPA is disgusting.

Dr. Forbes is the only one who sounds as if she has a grip on this.

She is our Dr Fauci.

Agreed, you need a "leader" who can get people to embrace the protocols. Much like the leaders of New Zealand, Germany and Iceland.

This is a time for the PM to step up to the plate and hit the home run.

Why keep it cheap and simple by using Zoom when you can spend large sums of the peoples money (kick back to any civil servants?????) and it not work?

True to form. The Minister would have been advised by his civil servants. They are more to blame than the minister.

Wow Tal, and yet we decided that the 45,000 tests that Cayman was selling in April/May (at cost) were too expensive.

$7333 a day is crazy.

Shows you how desperate Minnis is now.

Kelly's needs to be congratulated. **They have shown faith in the Grand Bahama community.**

They could have done like Hutchison, take the insurance money and run.

Insted, they have persevered through a grueling clean up, and then a througher renovation.

**Through all this, they kept their employees** and, I understand, continued to pay salaries.

congratulations kelly's freeport!

If it were any other island Minnis would have locked them down weeks ago.

If they want to open the Tourist season on 1st November he needs to get New Providence spread under control.

A comprehensive lockdown , like he did in Grand Bahama, would stop the spread.

But that would require real leadership on Minnis part.

Barbados and Cayman have already cornered the market. You can travel to Europe freely from those desinations without having to quarantine for 14 days.

They have the COVID-19 under some form of control by testing, contact tracing and treating.
There is no reason to even think of The Bahamas.

**“(With) the contact tracing obviously (we need) more capacity with that,” she continued."**

What tracing? I know many persons who have told me that, after they tested positive, it was several days before they were contacted and some say they were never contacted.

This is the problem, hardley any testing, by Government, and then little or no contact tracing.

The police should be tested at least once a week and frontline health workers everyother day.

School children should be tested every week or every two weeks.

It is known that good testing can capture 40% of the cases where the persons are spreading the virus but have not shown any symptoms.

The only reason the test numbers are going up is because the private sector are doing it.
