I hear that some Bahamians came to visit from the US and said that they were not required to provide a test or quarentine when they arrived in Nassau before flying to Grand Bahama. They came for a funeral in Grand Bahama, the church was packed (men of the cloth did not worry about social distancing). We all know what has happened.
I nam informed that the contract tracing is nearly non existant. They had a government employee who is a receptioist at government department and they haven't contacted any businesses that use it.
Think of all the persons who were exposed and could have been tested (sorry government waits till people get sick to test) and who could now be spreading COVID-19.
I understand that some government offices are not taking your tempreture or providing hand sanitizers when you go in AND many staff have the face mask around the neck not covering mouth or nose.
No wonder there is a spread, especially in Freeport where the government is especially slack.
The COVID-19 case rise is due to governmennt workers.

If you don't test you won't know what is going on.
Countries like Iceland, Singapore, Germany and South Korea were all able to slow the spread because they did lots of testing early on.
They found many cases 2 to 4 days before bthey showed any symtoms, thus greatly reducing the spread.
We are only doing 10 tests a day....what a joke.
