As foreigners, we want desperately to help the starving animals of the Bahamas. I am a strong supporter of the Humane Society of Grand Bahama, owner of 2 loving potcakes, and the founder of The Kohn Foundation, a U.S. non-profit that helps the HSGB raise money for spay/neuter initiatives. We have seen huge improvements in West End, Grand Bahama, as a result of spay/neuter there many years ago. We want to work in tandem with local vets, NOT take their business away.
