If Mr. Wells wants to impress someone, he needs to step up to the plate and come clean on this matter. As it stands, there is too much secrecy surrounding this entire situation. He has the power to stand up like a man and explain to the Bahamian people exactly what transpired. Who cares about the council and George Smith. The people elected him as a member of the not so honourable HOA. Until then, all I see is a man who trying to wiggle out of a sticky situation by bringing air talks. Everyone knows, talks bring talks!

The day that happens is the day hell will freeze over! The Christian Council won't allow it. You notice I said the Christian Council and not the government or the people.

To be fair, Mr. Symonette should not complain about waiting for 30 years for answers from the government. What a bullshit statement. He was a part of the government. As a matter of fact, he was the second in command. He had an opportunity to bring change and he didn't.

Ever heard of diversity! Geeze... That's what's wrong with this country. People fail to think out of the box. Replied to the wrong person above. By the way the Tribune need to give readers an option to remove comments, not just edit them.

Well_mudda_take_sic is upset about the fact that one of the staff members removed his/her comments due to certain violations. This type of venomous spite is highly disappointing coming from someone who appeared to be a responsible, caring blogger who always seemed to have contributed to this site on major issues facing the Bahamas in a mature fashion.

Where is the voice of the Christian Council? Citizens Against Crime?and all the rest of the crew who profess to be standing out against this monster? If people are passionate about something they will agitate until there is change. Agitation involves heavy emotions and sometimes even civil unrest. By the looks of things I don't see no one crying out. This shows that the majority of Bahamians are still in the dark about what the end results of what is happening now will be. We are not learning from our neighbours in the south.

Bahamians seem to now be immune to this type of news. The whole country should be crying out and demanding action. But unfortunately Bahamians always overlook the important issues to wobble in trivial matters.
