So here's a scenario: Let's say the PM did tell RW to sign the letter and after RW does as he is told this information is leaked and shite hits the fan. All of a sudden the PM's first reaction is to distance himself from the situation and ask RW to resign. The DPM knows that the PM did in fact authorize this transaction and insists that RM should not resign. Subsequently, the DPM sees this whole fiasco as a way to expose the PM while at the same time allowing him to take over the post that he so ardently seeks as PM. Well if that happens, then I would start singing the old set 'n' up song "Lay down my Bahamas, Lay down and take your rest. Lay your head now upon your Savior's breast... I love you ooh but Jesus love you da best. I bid ya good night, good night, good night"
Agreed. Because there are already tons of people who are doing this arranged marriage thing for money. OUr system is so slack and corrupted that the immigration policies need to be enforced. Incidentally, Bahamian males really need to get over this me Tarzan, she Jane foolishness. This is 2014 for crying out loud. Whether we want it or not women are opting to NOT take on the roles as the traditional Bahamian women who chose to be housewives that prepared the meal and tend to the kids while the male went out and work.
I'm with ya on that one. I have always considered myself to be a proud Bahamian who never missed a chance to participate in all of the voting exercises presented by the government. But after the last referendum was not honoured by this government I wouldn't waste my time voting or participating in anything the PLP brings to the people, not even for all the money in the Canadian banks!
Ahh... I don't believe that Branville is passionate or sincere enough about the position that he appears to be so fervently seeking as prime minister of the Bahamas. He certainly does not have the charisma or the tenacity of certain past leaders who connected with the people to agitate for change. He shows himself to be too cool and knowing-Almost as if he is the savior of the future for the Bahamas. NOW with that said, I believe that if he pulls his party together and present viable candidates to lead this wonderful country he would certainly stand a good chance of winning. I am basing this on many the people(both PLPs and FNMs) who firmly state how they are totally turned off from the ups and downs of the PLP and FNM parties and are ready to give the DNA a chance. I myself, a strong ex supporter of the FNM would also consider joining the green team once they get their act together. The FNM was good for the Bahamas mainly because there needed to be some change, any change from the wicked PLP regime that ruled for 25 years? The Bahamas' name was tarnished and needed to be reinstated, law and order needed to be enforced and fresh ideas needed to be brought to the forefront. But as I see it, the FNM got caught up in the same trap as that of the other party, trying to be loyal to their contributors and forgetting the small man who put them in power.
Does it even matter? In the Bahamas the constitution is not applicable to Bahamians. Ya gatta be a Haitian, a Chinese or white man dressed in a cheap suit. And by no means do I mean anything derogatory about my statement.
As I always say, if the Bahamas was not considered to be a prosperous country by many this would not have even been an issue. Everyone knows that Haitians are simply just using the Bahamas for what it can offer. I am talking about first, second, third all dem generations. Do you think for one moment that children born here by illegal parents would want a Bahamian passport if this country was impoverished? Absolutely not! But I predict that the DNA will get a lot of swing votes because of this burning issue. This means that Branny and Chris better do more than have talks. They need to unravel a plan for the next 20 years or so that every right thinking Bahamian can at least have better choices 2017 if a riot don't break out before then.
The nagging question is, why do so many people get upset when this man makes stupid comments? What do you do when you see potcakes running behind your car barking? You ignore them.
That's because Bahamians are the biggest hypocrites in the world. We wanna go to church every Sunday and talk about living a holy life and on the other hand we vote in a bunch of criminals. We are quick to call ourselves a Christian nation yet we have the devil at the stern of our country. SMT!

I am beginning to like Branville's way of thinking. Keep their feet on the coal DNA, cause the damn opposition certainly isn't doing.
