“The gunman shot him, took some cash and fled on foot.' So after getting the cash he still shoots the man. Who do we have living among us??? This is leading me to think that if someone holds a gun at me and demands cash I might as well try and tackle him cause he is gonna shoot me anyway.
@Repercussion:" I don't understand how logical thinking Bahamians would associate the oppositions performance or lack thereof solely with Minnis." Sigh...When one vies for public office, one immediately becomes a target for criticism: Some of these criticisms will be fair, others not so fair. The fact is Minnis is the LEADER of the opposition, therefore the buck stops at him. At least according this fake Westminster system we gat going on. The Bahamas is presently in plenty trouble. This is no time for cherry picking. This is no time for weak, indecisive leaders like the present prime minister. We need leaders who are short on talks and big on action, similar to the lady who took it upon herself to raise over 50,000 for the distressed people of Long Island or the man who opened the airwaves so that Bahamians can finally say what's on their mind without fear of victimization. But Bahamians are like a battered woman with low self esteem. They keep getting cut azz from these lousy politicians and they keep coming back for more. SMT!
Minnis, for the sake of country, please step down from your post and go back into medicine full time. I am so sick of hearing and seeing this man. He has no vision, he is NOT sincere and history will not be kind to him if he causes the FNM to lose the next election.
Lord have mercy! Why did this country even become independent in the first place. It is obvious that we will all be wondering in the wilderness, lost without any direction or hope of a brighter tomorrow after 2017. The bright, strong, young potential leaders have all abandoned the Bahamas and moved to a place where their talents are appreciated.
LB is probably smarter than we think. She is probably waiting for the present opposition leader, who is an idiot, to dig his own grave and bury himself. But the whole prospect of the FNM winning the next election looks very grim at the moment. 2017 will be a very important year for Bahamians, as we are now on the brink of becoming a country just like our neighbours in the south. If the PLP wins the next election, we are surely doomed! If the FNM wins the next election with Minnis as leader, we will still suffer by default.
