Birdie, please tell me what anything you are saying justifies the alleged abuse of these men? Are you saying that because you believe, in your narrow mind, that these men are criminals, that they deserve to get beating? Have you ever thought about the fact that Mitchell is taking on the attitude of the communist officials of Cuba towards these men, rather than looking at them as immigrants seeking asylum? While the public is not fully aware of all of the bits and pieces of this case, we are quite familiar with the attitude of this sneaky government and the thousands of abuse cases that are brought forward by Bahamians against these enforcement agencies.

*"The PLP, from its birth has suffered from the vitriolic and stubborn revisionism of The Tribune. I wanted to show the Bahamian people that every scintilla of every line in whatever Mrs Carron writes should be followed with a box of salt as the truth is not in her inkwell. "*

Mr. Roberts, please stop with this nonsense. No member of the PLP can ever talk about "truth". This word is foreign to your political organization. But speaking of truth, if it was not for the Tribune, the Bahamian people would never have been able to read all the truths about your lousy, corrupt party. And please do not address the Bahamian people as if you care for them, because you don't. The truth is, the the only way this country can really move forward, is when you and your old colleagues in the PLP retire in peace and let younger and much smarter minds take over. Finally, have you ever heard of the saying, "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"? Well let me just say that it does not matter how much you write these polished and refined words: To most Bahamians, you are still an empty barrel that makes noise.

Although Loretta is my first choice for leader of the FNM, lately she is becoming a sour lime. Or maybe something is going on with the FNM behind closed doors that I am not seeing. To me this is quite a dilemma, because I certainly don't trust Minnis and that other greasy man. But I believe Loretta still needs to just relax a little and stop falling in these traps that her FNM adversaries may be setting for her. If she believes that she is indeed the man for Long Island, then just take a chill pill and let the chips fall where they may. She is trying too hard to prove herself.

Well everyone must agree that some of the stalls are unattractive and dirty. People need to accept the fact that not because something is traditional that it means it is practical in today's society. Back in the 60's, 70's and 80's Potter's Cay might have been a quaint little market with native fruits and friendly vendors. Today it is a dirty ghetto with rowdy crowds, loud music and generators and the smell of rank you know what. But whatever, I think that provisions should be made to relocate vendors in a more suitable environment. But then again, this stupid government hate thinking out of the box. You know what though. Most of the rowdy vendors under the bridge are pro PLP, so they deserve what they are getting.
