Wells is never rationale about anything. The only thing that matters to him is quick money and how he could crook someone outta piece a land. And to think that he was trying to be PM at one point. I don't know where the Bahamas would be today if he had succeeded!

Yes, Godson. But it all boils down to the fact that Perry dem trying to save face. Why are they paying so much attention to this matter, that is poised to be a fiasco? Because they would lose the next election if people lose more jobs, particularly in Freeport, that's why. Freeport is very fragile now. But my point is, Perry dem treating this matter as urgent because they want to keep on governing. They are not for the sake of the people.

I keep telling yall this carnival thing just a front for the PLP to throw a lavish party on the house(the public purse) If they had canceled it this year, it would be admitting that they were wrong in the first place, in regards to this event being successful. Further, next year's carnival will even be greater and will culminate into election fever. Trust me, the PLP gat a bag of tricks that they keep pulling out to fool gullible Bahamians.

P.S. Why is the dead PM of the Bahamas wasting the tax payers money on someone as useless at Bethel????? WHAT? Are they Shagging each other or something???? Shit! Are Bahamians so ignorant in these politicians in their eyes that they really don't give a shit about hoodwinking us??? Hope the stroke do its cause next time! SMFT! Go ahead Tribune, do your censor ting. I really could give a shit.

*@Tal-Grown up and get over what ever you have in for Ingram and Butler. When you get emotions involved your argument is lost in pettiness.*

Now back to the subject at hand; It is obvious that these two men in black are trying to drum up some sweet pot in these two countries to sway voters on their team. One can always tell when election is near, while the PLP is in power. This man never ever pays attention to anything that is urgent, (hurricane Joaquin, murder rate, unemployment) and now all of a sudden he rushin' to do something urgent for the country????? Get your stupid @$$ outta here!

@Drea1-You are absolutely correct! I am waiting for someone to start the spark. I am by no means a hypocrite. It still does not change the fact that the majority of Bahamians could care less about what's going on around them. As far as complaining goes, the difference is I am sincere in my complaints. The average Bahamian will bitch and complain then still vote for these SOBs, like EasternGate calls them above. Don't sleep though. Many of the people we are complaining about frequent these pages. But come on Drea, you name the time and place for the mass protest and I'll be there!

Ahh, never mind the job losses; The PLP will employ them by having them put up lights for the Junkanno Carnival. I don't predict any jobs will be lost before election any way. That is not the PLP style. They probably have some secret deal with management to not let anyone go before election. So if they win the next election, when hundreds of greedy employees are given the hatchet and start complaining the PLP will simply ignore them in their usual style. But if they lose, then they will say, "see, under our watch no one lost their jobs Now this government, who don't believe in Bahamians causin' everyone to lose their job!"

Predictions 101-The PLP is gonna continue this massacre no matter what. I will bet my bottom dollar that the next election will fall around the same time as next year's carnival. That way, 1. The PLP will use this event to throw grand style PLP themed parties at the public's expense. 2 Take care of all of their cronies by offering them various positions for this event at the public's expense. 3. Drug the people and make them stuporous with all of the lights, free give-a-ways and liquor, so that the people forget all of the real issues facing the Bahamas and vote this government back in power during the height of their festive feeling.

If this was happening in any other country, during these tough economic times, the people would have taken to the streets in massive protests. But oh my Bahamians: Good at bringing each other down and only speaking out against small, petty, insignificant things that really do not matter. I guess it is a part of our culture to spend, spend, waste, waste, even when we don't have it. No worry, just keep borrowing for more unwanted stuff. Isn't that how the average Bahamian lives? So why would he or she complain about the abusive practices of this government. Das right, wear yinna lil skimpy costumes and jump aroun' like ain't no care in the world, hear?. Ya might as well enjoy it now, cause ya gon be eating bread 'n' butter soon!
