I hear ya! I hear ya! Every Bahamian I know has some gripe with BTC. I personally got shagged into signing up for that so called free long distance calling thing and never used it. Besides I already make free long distance call using my magic jack on my cell phone. Anyway, The lady who signed me up, who happened to be a foreigner, assured me that this new feature would really be less than my current billing.(False advertisement) That bitch lied to me! So , I called customer service to have this feature removed and they had the gall to tell me that I have to come in to the main branch to have it removed, whereas when I signed up I didn't have to even leave my home. As a result, I see my bill went up from a mere $70 per month to over one hundred. So you know I am furious. To date I still have not gotten this resolved. When you go to customer service or call it is just one big circle of go to this one or go to that one. I give up!!!

**Strong**Since the three major concerns facing our country today are education, crime and immigration, I would do the following If I were prime minister for a day:

**education**

1. Immediately draft a new educational program designed to meet today's students needs
2. Raise teachers salaries and seek some of the best educators from around the world to come and assist in our teaching programs
3. Create a special afterschool program to offer free courses in software/game design, website building and computer technology.

**CRIME**

- Immediately review all members of all law enforcement agencies, weed out the corrupt ones, reward the good ones with a raise in salary.
- Send out a mandate for all law enforcement officers to enforce all crimes, no matter how petty and arrest anyone who commits a crime no matter who he or she may be.
- Bring in foreign police to assist our local force, so that there be no discrepancies in officers overlooking perpetrators who they may know.
- Create a database with all crime related matters, including past criminals, areas most effected by crime, students who are susceptible to becoming future criminals etc.

immigration

1.Immediately launch a referendum via online networking to determine how many Bahamians would like to have the constitution changed in regards to granting permanent residency and citizenship and what those changes may be.

2. Increase employment by hiring hundreds of high school graduates to help sort all
applications submitted to the Bahamas Immigration

3. Build a database with all files and introduce 24/7 electronic services.

4.Immediately remove all shanty towns in the Bahamas and provide an alternative to proper
housing for those who qualify.

5. Deploy secret agents to Haiti to get first hand knowledge about human smuggling and mass illegal entry to the Bahamas

6. Carry out weekly mass deportation exercises, using the defense vessels as a means to transport illegals back to their country, instead of airlines.

Gomez, Gomez, Gomez! For God's sake please stay far, far away from politics as you can. You have no leadership qualities. You are wavering and flimsy: Your words cannot be trusted. Who knows where your loyalty lies??? Even Blind Blake can see that you are in for the money and the perks. Please go back to whence you cometh; the Bahamian people do bot need you!

On Gomez would be interested in return to Cabinet

Wowy calowy!!! Hope Strachan has finally done something for her constituents. She planted Christmas trees in all the parks in her constituency!!! She finally comes out of the woods just to speak out against petty theft. For the past three and a half years Mrs. Strachan couldn't be found when those in her community needed her to address much more pressing concerns. Who knew that all it would have taken to get her attention was one little Christmas tree???

Lol...TruPeople, I do not think that Haitian=Devil. I have four Haitians that work for me that I got permit for. I have attended many socials that were hosted by Haitians. And I have friends that are Haitians. So when I say that Haitians are deceitful, I am being very objective in my views. As a matter of fact, I always voice my opinion around them. And you know what? They tend to agree, so go figure.

Gone are the days when the Royal Bahamas Police Force hired only honorable men and women who possessed proper education and was physically fit to carry out the mandate of the force. Now a days every Tom, Dick and Pierre can join the force, with some not even qualified to clean the side of the road. What do you expect when you hire a thug and then put a gun in his hand???SMH

“Church leaders are called to raise the truth but it’s up to Bahamians to go further and say what you want.” What a bullshit statement!. Stop bringing up things if you cannot stand by what you're saying. In other words, grow some testosterone and call out the bad apples or shut up!

Voltaire, playing amateur phycology again? The case that I referred to earlier was an instance where there was "clear cut constitutional rights being violated". And I am NOT angry about 'that' incident. As a matter of fact, I am not angry at all. It's just that I am passionate about the truth: I cannot stand fake people who claim to be advocates for justice. It is obvious that you will always see Smith as the savior for the Haitian masses, illegal and legal; So your views will always be lopsided. You remind of the dogmatic Christian who takes little bits and pieces from the bible and glue them together to justify their unchristian practices. You grab a little information here and there about Fred where he is seen smiling for the camera and talking up for the lil man and you think that he is the messiah! Poor you.
