These are school children we are talking about. Don't blame them, blame our broken society. I move that the government of the day should receive the same punishment these boys have coming their way
Fuck the Haitians and Jamaicans and all the rest of them. What about the countless young Bahamian males that are shot and killed by police and no one ever notices. All yall get yall ass from here talking shit like yall care. Look out fer ya own, then come back here. Stop pretending like yall give a shit about human abuse. SMFT!
Lionfish, Apparently everyone commenting here, including our inept prime minister, missed the part where it is stated that this fight occurred off campus. Everyone hears about an incident involving students and they assume it took place on school campus. I don't get how placing metal detectors in school entrances and providing more police can prevent students from getting in these kinds of problems. This is not a school problem, this is a social issue. Just goes to show what a fake jackass we gat for prime minister. I guess he wants to show that he is concerned by opening he big mouth and saying anything to appease the dumb Bahamian masses.
You know what? I am getting sick of this Pintard man opening his gullet and not making any sense. Why on God's earth the FNM is inviting ANYONE from the PLP to join their party is beyond me. Geeze! There are many young, bright minded professionals out there who can do a far better job than these washed up, contaminated politicians. Please reach out to Bahamians who really care about Bahamians first, and not about the perks that come with these positions. Besides, Damien Gomez is not sincere about the welfare of the Bahamas. The FNM seems desperate in their quest to win the next election by simply pandering to the PLP dissidents. bahamian people do not want any plp damaged goods! But whatever: I think Pintard is the worst chairman that the FNM has ever had. He believes that he has the answers, but he is just as lost as the rest of his inept colleagues.
Birdie, sheeprunner,My2cents and SP I concur with your statements. By no means do I support the abuse of visitors to our country, be they legal or illegal. But the nagging question still remains, who is speaking up for the countless Bahamians that are being abused by governments, past and present, and these enforcement agencies on a daily basis??? You see, the problem is the media is playing devil's advocate by sensationalizing these stories of foreign abuse, yet they overlook any complaints by Bahamians who have been suffering for years. Shit, everyone in this country has more rights than Bahamians anyway you put it. Let us speak out for our brothers and sisters in the south, but for God's sake Bahamians, let us stand up for our own also!
Even Blind Blake can see this is a personal vendetta against the Crisis Centre. What makes it so wrong is that it is coming from a minister of parliament. This is the highest office in the land! As someone mentioned above, this was not a crime against women. If a man had been in place of the female victim that night, then this wouldn't be an issue. One can also question why the Bahamas Christian Council did not speak out. We can go on blaming all civic groups.
Yeah and once the government enforce the law in regards to motorists who are insured, your pocket gets bigger right Mr. Duff? If Mr. Duff's concerns are sincere then I totally agree with him. But when it comes to insurers and bankers I wouldn't trust their words more than Perry Christie's utterance even when he is telling the truth.
*"We are certain that Mr Munroe is aware that there might very well be political refugees, people who have fled the possibility of certain death and the Bahamas might be a transit point for them entering somewhere else."* Yeah, sure you mean Miami right, Mr. Retard? I mean,"Pintard" Let's be real, ain no political refugees coming out of Haiti. The only people coming out of Haiti are opportunists. So tired of these fake politicians!
