Wow this is some insight. It is amazing how almost everyone perceives the French to be the only victims of terrorism as of late, when other countries in Africa suffered similar disasters. I am shame to say that as a black Bahamian, of African decent, I too sympathized with France and never bothered to notice the other terrorism attacks in these other places. But as the ae mentions, the media has a whole lot to do with this warp perception. It is hard not to feel sorry for the people in France over the other countries when it is pushed in your face daily.

@Tal-You are certainly right about the lackluster websites and other mediums being used by the FNM and DNA. The PLP always comes out on top when it comes to presentation. But the end result is always garbage. My Lord, look at that nifty Urban Renewal commercial leading up to the last election that highlighted solutions to crime. It almost had me fooled for a millimeter of a second. But that's what the PLP does best. The members of this ungodly party would dangle a juicy steak in front poor, hungry Bahamians and once they catch their bait(the poor Bahamians), they would shove an old bone down their throats...Ah my, poor Bahamians.

Emac says...

Look, I don't trust nobody who was a part of the PLP in the first place. Like I always say, the PLP did not just become corrupt over night. They have been stealing and victimizing for over two decades now! So anyone who joins this party, do so for reasons that are certainly not in the best interest of county. Moss, Rollins and that other whimpy man who crossed over to the FNM are all big pretenders who looking for power. What really bites is that Bahamians have such short memory. They are too quick to accept those who were once borderline criminals as future leaders. As far as I am concerned, Moss and his crew can go to hell...wake up bahamas!

Emac says...

@Chucky-Get real! Ain' no Haitians working for less than Bahamians... You must be living on another planet or you are simply naïve to the attitude of today's Haitian workers. By the way, I never talk about anything I cannot prove. Get it right!

Emac says...

Cas0072,Cas0072,Cas0072... Why even argue with the usual illegal Haitian apologists. This group will always misinterpret the laws of the Bahamas to suit their purpose. Like I always say, that is in their blood. It doesn't matter how hard they try to pretend to blend in the Bahamian society, their true intentions come out every time Bahamian authorities try to do something about the illegal Haitian problem...Notice I said illegal Haitians now. They never have any gripes about any other nationalities. Simply put, ya can't change the nature of a people. By even trying to be rationale with them you will only be wasting your breath. This only proves SP and a few others views on the Haitian illegal dilemma. If push come to shove, which side you think they gern on???????????????

Emac says...

Boy these some chauvinistic views here now...Wow. I don't know what the woman size gatta do with her ability to lead. Although one might argue that her size portrays her lack of discipline in the dietary field or whatever. But one must remember that her weight is hereditary. I ain never hear no one call Sir Milo fat or over weight or anything derogatory. Many people described him as a "man of stature".
