Nothing to gloat about FNMs. As long as we keep juggling these two jokey parties, the status quo will remain the same in this dreadful countryy. Besides, these two clowns remind me of the fox and the sour grapes. Just because they were nobodies and couldn't get any of the cookie from the PLP they decided to switch to the FNM. Further, I would never trust anyone who joins the PLP. The PLP did not just turn corrupt over night. This party has been contributing to the downfall of the Bahamas since Pindling was leader. So anyone that joins the PLP looking for something: Plain and simple!
Not sure you are right about people being glad to visit the Bahamas to avoid Cuba. Europeans and Canadians have been opting to bypass the Bahamas and travel to Cuba for the past several years. Many people, including Americans themselves, feel that Cuba has been treated unfairly by America. So Bahamians had better get over that "Oh Cuba is communist so the Bahamas will always be better" syndrome. Cuba is by far a better place to visit:The people are friendlier, crime is almost non existent and you get better value for money.
Perhaps it is time to make the Bahamas a communist state if that's what it takes for Bahamians to survive. :-)
"In all fairness" Complete misuse of phrase when used by the bird. Admit it Strachan, you know nothing of fairness. Your whole scheme here is to fill these pages with PLP propaganda, no matter what the circumstances. Aren't you grateful that the FNM created this avenue for you to express yourself freely? Even when you don't make any sense?
Can Bahamians do anything right? And why is it that we always carry this dark secret culture whenever something goes amiss? No one ever seems to know the reason behind any major decisions whenever there are changes to some big event. All a sudden, the directors and promoters cease to exist. Simply state the facts, tell everyone the reason for postponing or canceling the event and people will at least respect your honesty. SMFH!
