Well that's too bad for the FNM. I voted for the Free National Movement consistently since Sir Wallace Whitfield was leader. However, it seems that this once great party has been watered down to a bunch of spineless people that are disconnected from the Bahamian people and their wishes. If the FNM body is too weak to rid their party of an ineffective leader, then it shows me that they are too weak to lead this country. Our country is in a very, very sad state. This is certainly not the time for Bahamians in key position to be afraid to demand changes, especially when it is for the betterment of the Bahamas. I say out with old and in with the new!
So we now live in a country where these old stuck in the past politicians and PLP minions become deeply offended and lash out against any opponent that speaks out against any member of the PLP, even when the members of this government are guilty of the most reprehensible actions that are ruining this country on the world stage. I am flabbergasted at how much we have regressed since 1992, when the FNM party won their first election. Bahamians had better take a long hard look down the road and do the right thing in 2017. We need to rid the Bahamas of this bunch forever, if not for ourselves, at least for future generations, who will surely feel the full brunt of all of the ills that this government is doing today.
@GrassRoot-I have concluded that Tal is Bi(plp)olar. Sometimes Tal actually calls out the evils of the wicked PLP and even speaks out against this awful party. But lately, Tal has been receiving kick backs, so she, like the majority of Bahamians, have become blind to the stupidity of the prime minister and his wutless crew. They never complain as long as they are receiving that 'silencer' money, not even when this government do things to harm the country.
What is this childish back and forth ranting by the government and Bahamar. My goodness, shouldn't the government of the Bahamas be the bigger party in this situation and simply just try to solve this amicably??? I don't have a problem with the government trying to play mediator, but damn do they have to have the last say? It reminds me of a game we used to play as children, called last, where the last person to hit the next individual, won the game. This is exactly how the members of this governing party act, like stinkin' spoil brats. They simply believe that they own the Bahamas and anything they say or do is final, without even consulting we,the people who they work for. SMFT!
You ain hear what Tal just say above ay? Yinna better stop disrespecting we nation's PM hear? This man will go down as the greatest Prime Minister that very held office in the Bahamas. (Wow so that's how it feels to sound like a PLP minion, someone who lookin' fer hand out without actually doing anything.)
Tal, as I mentioned in an earlier post, you and Orthland Bodie don't know what side of the fence yinna wanna be. I mean-The two of you mix up like conch salad. At least we know that Birdie is a PLP brown-noser. But with you, one could never tell when you gon switch. I guess the cheque that was promised to you during the election campaign just arrived in the mail two weeks ago ay? I am sorry, but no sane or honest person Can defend anything that this present government does. They simply CANNOT be trusted! Plain and simple. Cut and dry. As far as I am concern, anyone who have anything positive to say 'bout them is either getting kick backs, or is as dumb as a door nail!
I am in awe that the Bahamian populous would even let this government get by with all of this shite in 2015!!! Our people have their priorities f up for sure. WOW
Well all I can say is it is time to learn Mandarin if you have any hopes of working anywhere in the Bahamas. I for one have one in and one foot out of this country that I love so much.
Even if a curfew is introduced, which I am highly against, it would only be for the people without political connection. The solution to the crime problem is very complex and will takes years to turn around. Unfortunately, when you have corrupt government officials who always step in whenever their family member, lover or friend is in problems with the law, crime will always be rampant. Let's face it- We live in the wild wild west. The only thing the Bahamian people can do is get rid of the two dinosaur parties and start afresh!
