Child abuse up 22%? Not in this Christian God-fearing nation!!! Of course we're gonna hear the Christian Council speaking out against this heinous crime any minute now. Wait a minute, the majority of these church members and so called men of the cloth are the perpetrators of this crime themselves.

Who cares??? Any crooked azz lawyer would have no problems supporting this government. This smith guy is a criminal lawyer, so he feels right at home with the PLP!

@My2cents- You are 100% correct about Voltaire. I have been saying it for months now, that he is a closet Haitian. As I always say, nothing wrong with being a Haitian, but a Haitian pretending to be someone else hiding behind bias postings only makes his comments useless.

EasternGate and Chucky, the problem is not so much the value of our passport but the damage such a scheme could do to authentic Bahamians in terms of Visa issuance and other important tasks that demand a passport for identification. It gives the American Embassy the perfect opportunity to start to be very selective to whom they issue visas. Most of the times the innocent, which is in this case are the contributing Bahamians, suffer for the guilty, which includes stateless people who take advantage of our system and the Bahamians who sell their birthright for a couple a dollars to just box their numbers. SMFH!

Tal, if that is the stance you are taking regarding proper protocol for a political part,y then the FNM and the PLP have failed ten times over. The two parties might have established all of the above that you mentioned, but they sure ain adhering to any of it!
