John maybe the National Security Security should deploy defense force marines on our streets to assist police with carrying out patrols in our neighborhoods like how it's done in Jamaica and Trinidad.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force and the Department of Immigration needs a serious clean up because too much corruption goes on in those organizations.

birdiestrachan while I agree that there should be trained bahamian engineers or technicians to maintain those Wartsila engines however the amount time it takes to train a Bahamian to work on those engines while the load shedding is going on is time consuming when there should already be certified engineers at BPL that can maintain those engines.

What I think the government should do to create more revenue is create a citizenship of investment program similar to what Antigua, St Lucia, Malta and Monaco has where they can give wealthy foreigners with millions or billions that want to invest in the country citizenship but they must must invest a certain amount of money like $1 million or more if they want a Bahamian passport.

moncurcool I agree however the PLP should consider building the new prison on a cay or a scarcely populated island like Andros , Acklins & Crooked Island , Rum Cay or Mayaguana.

Notice how Dr Minnis is also in the news every other week criticizing the Davis administration but when he was PM he didn't give a rat's ass about the financial hardships Bahamians faced as a result of his disasterous economic policies.
