I often question if VAT should be charged on any business between Freeport licensees.
Why is a licensee paying vat on power, licensee fees, land lease fees, when the suppliers are also licensees of The Grand Bahama Port Authority.

"Two to three barrels"? There are globs of oil being found on the beaches such as Fortune Beach, which is about ten miles east of the Buckeye Oil Terminal.
Please get personnel out and check and clean this up.

In many jurisdications there is a no questions asked gun buy back program by the authorities.
Think about the cost savings when a gun is not available in a crime incident.
Many will be turned in just to make a few dollars.
Think about the logic of this!

I recall the official ground breaking, for the FTX Bahamas complex, with our Prime Minister, and other dignitaries, properly and respectfully attired. The FTX CEO shows up in a t shirt! Totally wrong. This should have been an indication that FTX was a joke!!

Bahamas Government should not getting into this type of price control in our free market society. A slippery slope.
If a pharmacy is charging too much you can always go elsewhere.
This may give rise to a more price friendly pharmacy succeeding.
Competition should control pricing not Government dictates.

Where is this vessel right now?
