It is a sad commentary that we are now at the point that we must make rules about what is appropriate dress. The three sizes too small is not appropriate anywhere. Especially on the gussiemaes!
The position of an elected Member of Parliment is not considered to be a full time job and has never been considered as such. It is a part time job. Therefore, a lower salary is appropriate.
We need to stop blaming our government (PLP or FNM) and police for the crime and murder situation. Our society is falling apart. Children and young adults are not being raised by their parents or communities. They just grow up by themselves.
Sir Durwood and Lady Holly Knowles are nothing short of a class act. True roll models for our country. They have served well in their numerous rolls from business, civic organizations, community service groups. They are great examples for all of us. How fortunate their lives together have been.
Hutchinson has reportedly been loosing around $20,000,000.00 annually since they first owned these hotels. What are they holding out for? The Memories (Blue Diamond), Hard Rock, and Whynn Group are the only logical group to sell to at this time. They are hotel resort operators and Hutchinson needs out of this property. Grand Bahama does not need the loss of these facilities. The businesses and community that depends on this Grand Lucayan operation cannot continue in this scenarios. Just read what Peter Hunt of Port Lucaya said. The games that Hutchinson and the potential buyers are playing is causing serious and grave issues on Grand Bahama. They really need to get this sale completed quickly. We have already missed this winter season and that money that would have gone into the Grand Bahama economy is lost forever. Please Hutchison. We are really depending on you.
Nygard obviously does not accept, nor respect, what Lyford Cay is meant to be. It is not for what he is doing. Lyford Cay is not the place for his "Disney" type development. It is a high end private residential community. Nygard does not fit in and should leave Lyford Cay. Money does not buy everything you want.

Full support of the properly dressed rule. The way some people dress is totally wrong. There is a time and a place for shorts. Buy a mirror!
