He's also as crooked as they come!

In fact, most Bahamians would say Junkanoo was infinitely better before government's foolish decision to start injecting taxpayers' dollars into the festivities many years ago. Junkanoo groups should be looking to private businesses as they once did for their funding needs.

Amen brother!

In other words, you believe a public school would somehow result in those responsible for this deadly incident being held less accountable for the apparent gross negligence in failing to periodically ensure the swings were safe for young children to use. That certainly says a lot about your acceptance of government corruption at the highest levels determining the outcome of judicial proceedings. If it were a public school I suppose you would be quite content for the government's "go to" favourite judge, Justice Winder, to hear and rule on any legal claim made against the ministry of education. You really are a class act!

as if our most corrupt and grossly incompetent pm and the members of his cabinet really give a flying hoot that responsive and reliable police, fire dept., and emergency ambulance services no longer exist in our country today. no civilised society should ever be without such essential services. but why should pm davis care about those whom contribute nothing to himself and his cronies?!!!

i can just hear the likes of darville and cooper saying maybe it's time for another round of juicy padded government contracts to buy more outrageously costly ambulances with the right intermediary cronies involved in their purchase and operation. and no need to worry if there are sufficient trained medics to for the ambulances!

yup, this young boy's life fell victim to the gross incompetence and neglectfulness of this most corrupt plp administration led by davis.

ExposedU2C says...

Unfortunately Goldilocks herself has been part of the problem for decades now. No one in government has ever felt the least bit compelled to give her occasional public utterances anything more than lip service with no action. Myles Laroda and PM Davis are proof of that fact.

ExposedU2C says...

LMAO. This dingbat of an AG has artificial grey matter between his ears. Here we see him trying to curry favour with Davis by telling him that the great AI wave, like the climate control and carbon credit waves before it, presents a golden opportunity for new schemes involving grand scale government graft that will serve to enrich the chosen few by fleecing the public purse and Bahamian taxpayers.

Let's face it, this most corrupt Davis led PLP cabinet already has more collective intelligence *of the artificial kind* than the largest data centres do anywhere in the world, if you know what I mean.

> The Prime Minister’s Office, in a statement, described the UK Export Finance funding and negotiations around it as “exploratory”. It said: “The bank [UK Export-Finance] indicated that $1bn was available, but any drawdown would depend on projects meeting their internal requirements and demonstrating benefit for The Bahamas."

Bottom line: Both Davis and Cooper were disappointed to find that the so called "internal requirements" of the UK Export Finance institution would not allow any portion of its funding to be used to pay 'side-door fees and commissions' of the kind our politicians just love to somehow dole out to "others", often including themselves.

On Gov’t turned down $1bn in UK export financing

Wannabe Dr. Scott is trying to re-write the history behind the Grand Lucayan debacle in which he played an instrumental role with the very arrogant, nasty and evil Minnis. That debacle has so far cost our country well-over two-hundred million dollars ($200,000,000) and counting!

Wannabe Dr. Scott knows no shame and should really crawl back into the hole from whence he came.

ExposedU2C says...

This is one dumb doctor who obviously does not know that public-private partnerships (PPPs) are not used to deliver essential services more efficiently, but rather are used by corrupt politicians and their greedy cronies in the private sector to fleece the Bahamian people (taxpayers). The profits from PPPs go to the greedy vultures who control them whereas the taxpayers get saddled with the debts and other costs associated with the PPPs. Is this doctor a friend of Tony Ferguson?
