The harmful mind altering effects from the habitual use of cannabis are well documented in the leading medical research journals around the world with young people being especially vulnerable to cannabis induced schizophrenia and bi-polar disorders for which there is no cure.
Many of the strains of cannabis grown today for recreational use have been genetically engineered to increase potency to dangerous levels. In instances of sustained heavier than usual use, the human brain is simply not able to withstand the harmful physiologically altering effects.
Only a quack medical doctor would support the recreational use of potent strains of cannabis on a regular basis. The commercially cultivated cannabis today is a far cry from the "weed" our parents may have smoked only a few decades ago.
And you can bet certain of our more corrupt cabinet ministers have been busy behind the scenes negotiating silent partnership deals with King Sebas and other scumbag thugs like him. Small wonder we have not heard or seen much from Darville lately. He's been too busy wheeling and dealing in the dark to help the "right" people jockey into position whereby they will control and monopolize the entire cannabis industry in The Bahamas. The dumbed down D- educated are about to have what's left of their useless minds blown away by the worst kinds of cannabis.
Obviously corrupt Darville has been "working" on the most costly ambulance procurement contract in the history of our country and neither him nor the IDB want us Bahamian taxpayers to know the total cost of these new ambulances. No transparency here at all and, as many of us know, Darville is one of those cockroaches who likes to "work" on big government contracts in the dark.
Why did he, as minister of health, wait until there were so few operable ambulances available to think about ordering new ones? How many lives were lost or put at stake because he wanted to delay purchasing new ambulances in order to have a more easily padded mega size contract?
Head line to this article should have all of BPL's customers wondering exactly which bill is Bannister really talking about. Is he talking about our already sky high monthly electricity bill or is he talking about the new legislative bill that will increase our already sky high monthly electricity bill through the roof, especially during the summer months?
The Tribune owners are more interested in their online advertising revenue from such articles about the alleged disgusting and deviant behaviour of those charged with sex crimes.
You can bet the court room in this case is packed with those who have nothing better to do than be entertained by hearing salacious smut.
And of course The Tribune knows there are many sick souls in our society who love nothing more than to hear or read explicit material centred around alleged sexually abuse.
The very cruel, evil and nasty Minnis was the most senselessly power crazed and tyrannically authoritarian PM our country has ever had. God forbid the people of our nation ever again have another monstrously wicked and demonic PM like him.
