The main problem here seems to be the misguided efforts of the two PwC liquidators to do the impossible, i.e., reconstruct records that just about everyone else knows, by admission of the culprits in court proceedings in the U.S., just do not exist. Trying to create something from nothing is great for liquidators' billings over many years, but does nothing for those who got royally screwed in the SBF/FTX debacle.

We were told before VAT was introduced that it would replace customs duties. That certainly didn't happen. And now we are being told before corporate tax is introduced that it will replace business license fees. Well that just ain't gonna happen, and most of us know it.

And of course businesses will try to recover as much of these ever increasing taxes from their customers as they possibly can, but this only means even higher prices to be paid for just about everything Bahamians must buy to try and survive. Yup, no one is more uncaring and cruel than corrupt Davis!

As for the fat cat accountants, don't expect them to object strongly on behalf of their clients to the unfair and excessive taxes and fees being imposed by government. The exorbitant costs associated with government imposed accountant certifications are quickly becoming a huge part of the burden that struggling local businesses are facing. The accountants are in fact laughing all the way to the bank with each and every sky high billing that they get to send to their clients as a result of their partnership with government.

This doofus AG of ours is well known to be 'all talk' and 'no do' when it comes to just about any and every thing that does not serve his own personal interests.

The richer certain government officials and cruise ship officials get from these corrupt deals, the poorer the vast majority of Bahamians get. We have nearly half a century of unequivocal evidence to support that fact. How much longer are down trodden Bahamians going to allow themselves to be raped, pillaged and plundered?

ExposedU2C says...

Corrupt officials at the highest levels within the PLP government are engaged in highly secretive behind the scenes negotiations with a consortium of CCP controlled enterprises and a consortium of corrupt cruise ship companies to determine which of the two consortiums will ultimately gain control of the GBPA after it is first nationalised by government.

ExposedU2C says...

Don't bother applying for that government job. Thugs do not hire persons seeking to arrest other thugs. And God knows we have way too many thugs in this corrupt Davis led PLP government

You will never guess which politically connected muck-a-mucks stand to reap huge windfall profits from all of the CCTV related government contracts. LOL

This numbskull Wilson not only has little on the top of his head, but even less inside it. Truly pathetic to think that this buffoon continues to be allowed to have anything at all to do with our country's finances.

>Slimeball Mitchell said, with a straight face, that "the litigant has a responsibility to move the process forward and that’s done by writing the registrar and indicating this is an emergency we need to have a date set down."

As if he played no role in the calling of the snap election and then making sure the filed legal action did not receive the time of day until after the election and the OAS calling The Bahamas out on its failure to allow due process. LMAO
