I gather you've noticed that whenever things are not going well for PM Davis in the press, such as the real beating he is most deservedly taking on out-of-control violent crime situation, he quickly picks up the phone and tells Simple Simon or Dumbo Halkitis to get out there and help him threaten the menacing plebes with increased taxation in order to change the subject du jour.
Snake is well known to be one of the most boisterous and loud mouthed wafflers in the Bahamas, always seeking to part the more gullible from their hard earned money for ultimately his own personal benefit. The insatiable greed and bullying tactics of the Snake and his family have no bounds and the smart money always stays well clear of him.
There will be no FNM until evil Minnis is jettisoned from the party and forced to become an independent. The voters in the Killarney constituency did the country a grave disservice by allowing this tyrannical and authoritarian wannabe dictator to keep his seat in parliament.
The only thing we need to know is that you have three faces on this website: (1) Communist Chinese Supporter; (2) Haitian Alien Supporter: and (3) Die-hard Davis Supporter. Need we really know any more faces? LOL
Representatives of the major foreign lenders active in the international debt markets have now officially made it known to our government that they can no longer entertain rolling over or restructuring our existing external debt, or advancing new foreign currency denominated loans to our nation, at less than outrightly unaffordable rates of interest, unless a minimum 15% income tax across the board is imposed on all individual Bahamians and residents of the Bahamas and their businesses.
Why has our Minister of Finance (PM Davis) and our Central Bank Governor (John Rolle) not said anything about this, instead choosing to let Simple Simon and Dumbo Halkitis threaten us with one aggressive tax policy after another?!
You only have to look at who in government ends up getting "freebies" and other wealth thrown their way from these most harmful development projects to understand why they always seem to be able to get the permits they need to proceed, one way or another.
The international lending markets remain gravely concerned that the Davis led PLP government is unable (unwilling) to implement meaningfully effective policies to contain what seems to be an uncontrollable growth in wasteful and non-productive expenditures, not to mention the massive continued attrition in our nation's resources caused by unchecked pervasive corruption.
