Democracy in our country died decades ago when SLOP (Poodling) decided to use the public education system to dumb-down future generations of voters and at the same time do little to protect our nation from being invaded (taken over) by an ongoing influx of illegal Haitian and other aliens.
This has resulted in the grandparents of Bahamians having lived much better lives than their children and grandchildren, with no hope insight for all future generations of Bahamians. Already our country has no affordable and habitable land for Bahamians to purchase and live on.
Unchecked corruption by the elitist political ruling class has finally taken its ultimate toll by leaving us with elections that are farcical in terms of the quality of candidates and the "fixing" through purchased votes. And this most crooked Davis-led PLP government is truly emblematic of our failed democracy.
Whatever 15% tax you think The Bahamas will get for its own coffers from these foreign controlled enterprises operating from within our jurisdiction is nothing but a pie-in-the-sky dream.
The alphabet soup agencies like the oecd, fatf, imf, etc. that represent the tax hungry developed countries will make sure by hook or crook that they somehow ultimately get the lion's share of whatever income tax we manage to collect from all foreign controlled enterprises domiciled in our country for tax evasion and/or avoidance reasons. The OECD et al. already have their game plan in place to transform our small nation into big time tax collectors for the benefit of the developed countries but at our great cost.
That dumb arse AG of ours, Ryan Pinder, and so many wannabe Bahamian taxation experts and/or global economists simply do not understand the way the world works today.
Davis can be heard saying: "My people want me give 'em low cost water, low cost food, low cost electricity, low cost health care.......and now they want me to give 'em low cost communictions too!!"
This idiot AG is all about more laws and regulations to grow the size of government and put more of the wealth generating capacity of our country into the hands of the elitist political ruling class, to be shared by their foreign friends and local cronies. The Bahamian people need protection from the likes of knucklehead Pinder.
And to think the the elitist hierarchy of the PLP political ruling class still have the audacity and temerity to refer to their party as the **Progressive** Liberal Party. Now that's a real joke consider the decades of **Regressive** policies they have used to make themselves so filthy rich while making the average Bahamian so very poor.
